The Web Analytics Association (2008) defines Web Analytics as the “tracking, collection, measurement and reporting to optimize websites and web marketing initiatives”

Within our research in Web Analytics we developed a Web Analytics process framework which assist organisations in establishing a sustainable Web Analytics programme. It is of interest for us that data is not only collected, but used in a way that actionable outcomes are achieved.
